Davida Hartman
Davida is a Chartered Educational and Child Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland (Membership Nmb:M5129C) and an Adjunct Professor in the UCD School of Psychology. She is founder and Clinical Director of The Adult Autism Practice and co-founder and Principal Psychologist of The Children’s Clinic, both practices having a strong mission of advocacy and providing best practice neurodiversity affirmative services. She is an author, lecturer, public speaker and ally to the Autistic and disability communities. She is also late identified ADHD.
adam harris
Adam is the Founder and CEO of AsIAm, Ireland’s National Autism Charity. Adam founded the organisation based on his own experiences growing up Autistic. Today, AsIAm provides support to the Autistic community and their families, advocates on behalf of the community, and works to support public and private sector organisations and communities in becoming inclusive and accessible. A Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Awardee, Adam is a frequent contributor to media and conferences in Ireland and overseas. He has also sat and advised on many government consultative and policy committees on disability rights and inclusion. From Greystones in Co Wicklow, Adam was appointed to the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission in July 2020.
laragh Smith
Laragh is a passionate advocate for Autistic and disability rights. She was on the first As I Am Youth Leadership Team and spoke at their first conference in Dublin Castle in 2016. She is an now an As I Am Ambassador and an assistant tennis coach.
riona Sally hartman
Ríona is a bilingual vocalist, composer, and songwriter based in Ireland. She releases music under her own name as well as collaborating with various projects and bands, including IMLÉ and Monster Monster. She also creates music for young audiences and is musical director of The National Concert Hall’s Education and Community Outreach Ensemble. She is also a member of the Improvised Music Company’s board of directors.
Roisin Doyle
Roisin is an accredited Psychotherapist with the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP) and Irish Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapists, and a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland. She is neuro-affirming in her approach to therapy, with extensive CBT experience whilst also utilising elements of mindfulness, acceptance & commitment therapy, compassion focused and transdiagnostic approaches within her practice. Roisin has worked in various adult and child clinical settings including community mental health, corporate wellbeing and private practice. She has also carried out extensive clinical research, working on large epidemiological studies in first episode psychosis (Dublin FEP cohort) and is a published author in FEP Disengagement & Treatment.
Deirdre o’mahony
Deirdre O’Mahony is a Financial Controller of an SME in the Mid West with 17 years experience working in business in Australia and Ireland. With an Hons Degree in Psychology from Trinity College Dublin, she pivoted to business, subsequently receiving a Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Southern Queensland. Forever grounded in her first love of psychology, she has an interest in the overlap of soft and hard skills with a keen civic mind. She is inspired, committed, an excited by the ethos of Gig Buddies. Deirdre has completed post graduate professional certificates in Digital Marketing, Leadership and Transformational Change and Mediation, She is an ACCA Affiliate and soon to be Chartered Accountant.
